With several plays in repertory opening on Broadway this year, theatre fans are already wondering what this will mean for the 2014 Tony Awards. Both NO MAN'S LAND/WAITING FOR GODOT and TWELFTH NIGHT/RICHARD III will take Broadway bows this fall, featuring such stage heavyweights as Mark Rylance, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart and more- but will they be eligible for both of their performances?

After breaking box office records in 2011, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to Pittsburgh's Benedum Center January 15 through February 9, 2014. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale Monday, November 4, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. WICKED is part of the PNC Broadway Across America-Pittsburgh series, presented by The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Broadway Across America and Pittsburgh Symphony.

The skill needed to adapt Gregory Maguire's novel into a stageable script takes both collaboration and out-of-the-box thinking. Working closely with the rest of the creative team, Wicked's book writer Winnie Holzman defined characters, built plot and weaved together themes to bring the story of Elphaba and Glinda to the stage. On Wednesday, October 30th, the blockbuster musical, WICKED, will celebrate its 10th Anniversary on Broadway, a milestone achieved by only ten other Broadway productions in history. The creative team and many of the musical's previous cast members will celebrate WICKED's first decade with a special performance, followed by a company party, on October 30th at 7:00pm. In addition, special promotions and appearances will be scheduled throughout the month of October, in celebration of the show's enduring worldwide popularity.

WICKED Australian Co-Producer John Frost today announced that preview tickets for performances from 7-9 May for WICKED's 2014 Melbourne season will be available for sale on September 30.
