Island City Stage and Empire Stage have announced their co-production of the play 'The Twentieth-Century Way' by Tom Jacobson, which will be performed at Empire Stage, 1140 N. Flagler Dr., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33304, beginning August 9. The official opening is set for August 11, 2012, and the play will run Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00pm, and Sundays at 5:00pm, through September 9. ALICE: A NEW MUSICAL, with book, music and lyrics by Andrew Barbato and Lesley DeSantis, will be presented as part of the 2011 Midtown International Theatre Festival. Performances will be July 20th ­­at 8:00pm, July 23rd at 8:30pm, July 24th at 1:30pm and July 30th at 11:00am, at the June Havoc Theatre (part of the Abingdon Theatre Complex at 312 W 36th St).
