The Arvada Center will open A Christmas Carol, The Musical directed by Gavin Mayer on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:30 p.m. This Broadway rendition of a family holiday favorite will run through December 22 in the Main Stage Theater. Previews are November 22 - 24 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Please note: There will not be a performance on Thursday, November 28 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. An additional performance has been added on Sunday, December 1 at 7:30 p.m. Talkbacks will be offered Friday, December 6 after the 7:30 p.m. show and Wednesday, December 11 after the 1:00 p.m. show. Adult ticket prices start at $53, and children's tickets are half price. A cast of military veterans performs American Soldiers, a play by Matt Morillo, at American Legion Hollywood Post 43, opening on Veteran's Day, today, November 11 at 8pm. The play had its world premiere in 2010 at Theater for the New City in New York. Since that time, as the subject of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder has become very prominent, American Soldiers has been finding new and growing audiences.

The Arvada Center Artistic Producer Rod A. Lansberry and show director Gavin Mayer have announced the cast for A Christmas Carol, The Musical by Mike Ockrent & Lynn Ahrens.
