The David Lynch Foundation will launch its new performance division, DLF Live, at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival today, June 15, 2013. DLF Live will harness the power of arts and creativity to bring meditation to at-risk communities. The launch will be marked by a screening of Meditation, Creativity, Peace, a documentary highlighting filmmaker David Lynch and his decades-long dedication to meditation and the arts. The screening is sponsored by the David Lynch Foundation (DLF) and will be hosted by James McCartney, musician and son of legend Paul McCartney and Bob Roth, Executive Director of DLF.

When Ultraísta released their eponymous debut album last fall, it quickly established a couple universal truths: 1) Nigel Godrich and Joey Waronker are incredibly innovative musicians and producers whose fingerprints are embedded in their most notable collaborators (namely Atoms For Peace, Radiohead, and Beck); and 2) Laura Bettinson's beguiling voice and mesmerizing stage presence make the impressive pedigree of this band a moot point. Her voice could stand out over virtually any sound, and nothing proves this better than an album of star-studded remixes.

Topping the list of nominated series are American Horror Story: Asylum (FX) and The Big Bang Theory (CBS) with six nominations each. Paris Photo Los Angeles concluded Sunday with genuine excitement over the inaugural United States edition of the renowned Paris fair for artworks in the photographic medium. Over 13,500 visitors flocked to the historic Paramount Pictures Studios to view works by masters and emerging artists from an international roster of exhibitors, including 60 galleries and 12 booksellers from cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Paris, London, Mexico City, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, St. Moritz, Marrakech, Amsterdam, Vienna, Berlin and more.
