David Lynch Graduate Wins Student Academy Award

The David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Arts at Maharishi University of Management, is pleased to announce that 2015 graduate Johnny Coffeen has been awarded the coveted Student Academy Award for his thesis film, The Swan Girl, about an artist mysteriously held captive in a studio, sculpting complex figures in an effort to atone for the mistakes of his past. This award will qualify him to be considered for an Academy Award nomination early next year.

As we get closer to the opening of my production, From Ibiza to the Norfolk Broads, I have begun to re-examine David Bowie and his relationship with theatre. It's a curious and fascinating subject to explore. The usual lazy headlines about Bowie tend to focus on bisexuality, drugs, reinvention, promiscuity, and more recently dreadful and invasive rumours about his passing. However, those that love him know David was so much more - a writer, painter, auteur, and innovator. The best pop star the world has ever seen.

Service is thrilled to announce their production of Bernard Pomerance's THE ELEPHANT MAN (with original cello composition by Josh Bradford), Directed by Shawn Gann and starring Jason Leyva, Pat Watson, and Sara Lovett; and, featuring *Bert Pigg, and Chris Messersmith.
