Manhattan Theatre Club will present its annual Spring Gala on Monday, May 22 at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street) honoring Matthew C. Blank, Chairman of Showtime Networks Inc.

Carol Hickey Acting Studio presents Good People, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire.  He pays his respects to his old South Boston neighborhood and the insurmountable class divide between those who make it out of this blue-collar neighborhood and those who find themselves left behind.   Good People has been hailed as enthralling, utterly gripping, remarkable" by the Los Angeles Times, "painfully funny and gut wrenchingly real" by Washingtonian Magazine and "masterful and oh-so-compelling" by The Boston Globe. 

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce complete casting for Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Fulfillment Center, the new play by Abe Koogler (Kill Floor), directed by Daniel Aukin (Fool For Love at MTC).

Multi-award winning Foothill Music Theatre presents the Tony Award-winning Shrek The Musical. Set in a mythical "once upon a time" land, Shrek The Musical tells the story of a hulking green ogre, Shrek, who sets off on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona from a dragon-guarded castle.

Good People by David Lindsay-Abaire will be directed by Daniel Eilola for the Black Box series at Lake Worth Playhouse, running April 27th - May 7th, 2017.

It was just announced by Pulitzer Prize administrator Mike Pride that Lynn Nottage's SWEAT has officially won the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
