Comedian AZIZ ANSARI will bring his “Modern Romance” tour to the Morris Performing Arts Center, South Bend, Indiana, onFriday, March 7, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. Ansari co-stars opposite Amy Poehler in the Emmy nominated NBC series, “Parks and Recreation.” The series received its first Emmy nomination in 2011 for Outstanding Comedy Series. His portrayal of government employee 'Tom Haverford,' has earned him much critical praise including Entertainment Weekly naming him one of their “Breakout TV Stars,” TV Guide naming him a “Scene Stealer” and Yahoo! “Dateline NBC” (1.5/5 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) equaled the show's highest Friday adult 18-49 rating in more than a year, since scoring a 1.7 on Dec. 28, 2012. In the time period, “Dateline” tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in women 18-49 and women 25-54. “Dateline” grew from its first half-hour to its second in all key measures, including gains of 14% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.6 from a 1.4) and 16% in adults 25-54 (2.2 vs. 1.9).
