The RAVEN RESORT proudly announces the official casting for NEW FEATHERS, a playwright reading series, showcased within their newly refurbished theater, The Oak Room.  Devoted to showcasing new and developmental theatrical work, this series will feature the professional and award-winning playwrights of Princeton's Witherspoon Circle. 

Velocity is taking viewers inside the automotive restoration side of Holguin's business in the all new series RMD GARAGE, beginning Today, August 2 at 9 PM ET/PT, where they'll see imaginative, outstanding creations including a 1958 Chevy Apache Dream Catcher, a 1962 Bel Air Bubbletop, a 1957 Lincoln Continental and many more come to life.

Banjo player extraordinaire Scott Vestal is the 2017 recipient of the 8thAnnual Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass. Grammy Nominee Peter Wernick, known as Dr. Banjo, presented Vestal with the award on stage at the 45th Annual Rocky Grass Festival in Lyons, CO this past Saturday after Vestal's performance with the Sam Bush Bluegrass Band. Previously the recipient of the Banjo Player of the Year in 1996 by the International Bluegrass Music Association, Vestal is an in-demand session player who has engineered, produced, and played on various award-winning instrumental recordings.

Nine-time Emmy Award-winning television producer and writer David Lee, best known for Frasier, Wings, and Cheers, has generously offered to match all gifts up to $30,000 that will be contributed to the theater company through Labor Day. Of this tremendous gift, Lee said, "Coyote StageWorks consistently has produced much of the finest live theater in the Valley, but it is a well-kept secret. I make this matching gift to support their continuing artistic excellence, to draw attention to this wonderful company, and to put the community on notice that without their financial support we could lose this precious commodity." In making this commitment, he hopes to encourage people who haven't supported Coyote StageWorks to step up and do so now while they can double the effect of their donation.

Red Lab Productions (Boris Akunin's Hamlet. A Version) will present the World Premiere of Lasha Bugadze's Navigator in Love, directed by Adam Knight (In the Room with Slant Theatre Project) as part of the Georgian-American Theatrical Feast, a festival of new works written by playwrights from the Republic of Georgia translated into English, July 13-August 6 at Teatro Circulo (64 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) with performances on Thu 7/13, Fri 7/14, Sat 7/15, Sat 7/22, Wed 7/26, Thu 7/27, Fri 7/28, Fri 8/4 & Sat 8/5 @ 8pm, Sun 7/16, Sun 7/23 & Sun 8/6 @ 3pm. San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) has announced final casting for the first production of its 2017/18 season, 'EVITA.'

John Batdorf, the legendary singer-songwriter solo artist and one half of Las Vegas Rock and Roll Hall of Famers folk-rock duo Batdorf & Rodney, has released a brand new album Next Stop, Willoughby, a collection of ten original songs all written, produced, arranged, mixed, sung, and performed entirely by John. He will be touring this summer with select dates across the U.S.

The NEW JERSEY ONE-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL (#1MPF) returns to for its seventh year, beginning a new and exciting partnership with Mile Square Theatre. The marathon evening of one-minute plays by over 30 of New Jersey's established and emerging playwrights and directors plays three performances only, Saturday, June 24th at 8pm, and Sunday, June 25th at 3pm & 7pm, 1400 Clinton St, Hoboken, NJ 07030. The Lyric Stage Company of Boston closes out the season with David Lee's adaptation of Lerner and Loewe's CAMELOT, a revision that hones in on the relationships among the three principals and retains the glorious score, while jettisoning considerable weight from the historically burdensome book. Producing Artistic Director Spiro Veloudos shapes the production with his vision for the 21st century, assisted by the virtuosic Music Director Catherine Stornetta and Rachel Bertone, whose choreography blends medieval style with modern dance steps.
