Disney Channel -- which introduced a generation of kids and tweens to movie musicals -- will premiere the highly anticipated 'TEEN BEACH MOVIE' a modern take on classic beach party movies, FRIDAY, JULY 19 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT).

Last weekend, Connecticut Concert Ballet welcomed professional dancer and Hartford resident Eddy Tovar to the Bailey Auditorium. Tony Award-nominated actor Kevin Chamberlin ('Jessie,' Broadway's 'The Addams Family') will be starring in Disney Channel's TEEN BEACH MUSICAL, a modern 'no more complications, just good vibrations,' break into song and dance comedy in which surfer girl McKenzie and her boyfriend Brady literally go into a classic surf movie musical.

Dancing With The Stars finalist and N'SYNC star Lance Bass, theater producer and last years' honoree Michel Butler and New York Yankees pitcher David Robertson will be featured guests at tonight's fourth annual Broadway in South Africa gala. Tonight's event will feature Broadway artists and Broadway in South Africa (BSA) students from South Africa sharing the stage to present and perform world-premiere songs written my many of New York's most talented songwriters and composers. The cast of Broadway's Golden Oldie's musical, BABY IT'S YOU!, will perform at a fundraising event benefitting Passaic High School on Sunday August 7, at 7:30pm. Florence Greenberg's daughter, Mary Jane, first saw the four singers that her mother would make into the Shirelles at a talent show in the auditorium of Passaic High School, and in honor of that historic event the BABY IT'S YOU! cast will be performing numbers from the Broadway musical that chronicles the meteoric rise of the legendary girl group. The benefit will take place in the newly refurbished auditorium of Passaic High School (170 Paulison Avenue, Passaic, NJ) and will also feature a performance by the Passaic High School Band and a special Q&A with the cast of BABY IT'S YOU!. Tickets are $20 at the door and 100% of the proceeds will benefit a performing arts scholarship fund for a deserving Passaic High School Student.
