God has chosen His Angels! Casting is now complete for the new Broadway comedy An Act of God starring Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Jim Parsons. Joining Parsons will be two-time Tony Award nominee Christopher Fitzgerald (Finian's Rainbow, Young Frankenstein) as 'Michael' & Tim Kazurinsky ('SNL', Police Academy) as 'Gabriel'. An Act of God is written by God, transcribed by 13-time Emmy® Award winner David Javerbaum and directed by Tony Award® winner Joe Mantello.

59E59 Theaters and Prospect Theater Company announce cast for the NYC premiere LONG STORY SHORT, adapted from David Schulner's play An Infinite Ache by Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda, and directed by Kent Nicholson. LONG STORY SHORT begins performances on February 28 for a limited engagement through March 29. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:15 PM, Friday at 8:15 PM; Today at 2:15 PM and 8:15 PM; and Sunday at 3:15 PM. Please note the following schedule adjustments: there are no matinee performances today, February 28 and Today, March 7; the performance on Sunday, March 1 is at 7:15 PM only. Press Opening is Tuesday, March 10 at 7:15 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Tickets are $50 ($35 for 59E59 Members). According to an Equity casting notice, the production is currently seeking Parsons' two co-stars- Michael (30s. An angel of God's. Funny, impulsive, as irreverent as an angel of God's can be) and Gabriel (40s. An angel of God's. By the books; no-nonsense). Auditions for the roles will take place later this week.

Producer Jeffrey Finn (Seminar, The Realistic Joneses) announced today An Act of God, the stage adaptation of The Last Testament: A Memoir By God, is headed to Broadway. The new Broadway comedy is based on the critically acclaimed book, which was written by God and scribed by David Javerbaum, an 11-time Emmy Award winner for his work as a head writer and executive producer for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart".
