Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) is proud to present Samson Raphaelson's ACCENT ON YOUTH to be directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan (Rabbit Hole, Sight Unseen, Proof).

Raúl Esparza, Terrence McNally, Debra Monk, David Hyde Pierce, Chita Rivera, Tom Wopat, Karen Ziemba, among other Kander and Ebb alums, will headline Come to the Cabaret: A Celebration of Kander and Ebb. Directed by John Doyle with Mary-Mitchell Campbell lending her talents as music director, the May 4th star-studded evening to benefit The Acting Company is at The Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45thSt.) An intimate Patron's Dinner with the cast follows the performance at the Marriot Marquis Hotel.

Eric McCormack, Emmy Award winner for 'Will & Grace,' will play El Gallo, Lucas Grabeel from 'High School Musical' will play Matt, and Broadway star and Tony nominee Harry Groener will play Bellomy in 'The Fantasticks,' which concludes the 2008-2009 Reprise Theatre Company at the Freud Playhouse May 5-May 17 (press opening May 6).

The Directors Company production of Irena's Vow, the new play by Dan Gordon, starring four-time Tony nominee, and three-time Drama Desk Award-winner Tovah Feldshuh, and directed by Michael Parva, opened on Broadway last night, Sunday, March 29th. The annual event will begin at noon on Friday, May 15, 2009 in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square (1535 Broadway at 46th St.). Tickets are on sale now (see below for details).

CURTAINS, the hilarious new musical whodunit that was a 'must-see' hit of the 2007-2008 Broadway season, playing over 500 performances, kicks off Drury Lane Oakbrook's 25th anniversary season. The production previews March 19, opens Thursday, March 26 and runs through May 17 at Drury Lane Oakbrook, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace, IL. This is the first regional production of CURTAINS, preceding even the first National Tour. CURTAINS is the winner of nine Drama Desk Awards and eight 2007 Tony Award nominations including Best Musical, Best Book, Best Score, and Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical (David Hyde Pierce).

EXIT THE KING which stars Geoffrey Rush, Susan Sarandon, Lauren Ambrose, Andrea Martin, William Sadler and Brian Hutchison, officially opened on Broadway, Thursday, March 26 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there to cover the grand opening night!

Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden star in GOD OF CARNAGE, the new play by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton, directed by Matthew Warchus, opened on Broadway at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45 Street), Sunday March 22. Previews began on February 28. BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there as the starry crowd came out to see the opening night performance.

The Dramatists Guild Fund's annual Benefit Gala, titled 'STAR TURNS: Great Writers Thank Their Lucky Stars!' which will be held on Monday, April 20 at the Hudson Theatre (Millennium Hotel, 145 West 44th St), will honor Rosie O'Donnell and Rosie's Broadway Kids.

Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit began preview performances on Thursday, February 26, 2009 and opened on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the Shubert Theatre (West 44th Street). We were there to capture all the starry arrivals at opening night!
