Rockin' With the Ages & The Pink Lady Extend THE BEAT GOES ON! Through November 25

ROCKIN' WITH THE AGES & THE PINK LADY have announced that their smash-hit, critically acclaimed, World Premiere production of THE BEAT GOES ON! A Musical Celebration of the Young at Heart, featuring musical direction by David O, and written, choreographed and directed by Ovation Award-winner Cate Caplin is extending through Sunday, November 25 at the Theatre of Arts Arena Stage, 1625 N. Las Palmas Avenue in Hollywood.

Kelli O'Hara, David Hyde Pierce and More Set for Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2012 Benefit, 11/18

On the heels of its record-breaking 2012 Summer Season, Williamstown Theatre Festival will pay tribute to Abe Burrows, the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning author and director, at its 2012 Benefit, to be held on Sunday, November 18th at 6:30 p.m. at the Edison Ballroom in New York City (240 West 47th Street), it was announced today. The evening will feature performances by recent Williamstown Theatre Festival alumni David Hyde Pierce (director of last season's The Importance of Being Earnest), Steven Pasquale and Kelli O'Hara (WTF's Far From Heaven), Greg Naughton, Malcolm Gets (WTF's Ten Cents a Dance) and more.

Mark O'Donnell Memorial Set for November 12 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre

Family, friends, and colleagues will gather to celebrate the life and voice of Broadway librettist Mark O'Donnell on Monday, November 12 at 3pm at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, 261 West 47th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue. Doors will open at 2:30pm and the event is open to the public.

Opening Night is Monday, November 12 at 6:45 pm for the Lincoln Center Theater production of VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE, a new play by Christopher Durang, directed by Nicholas Martin at the Mitzi E. All Lincoln Center Theater Productions Will Resume Tomorrow

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that its three productions will resume performances tomorrow, Wednesday, October 31: WAR HORSE in the Vivian Beaumont Theater and VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE in the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, both at 2pm and 8pm; and DISGRACED in the Claire Tow Theater at 7pm.

Genevieve Angelson, Shalita Grant, Billy Magnussen, Kristine Nielsen, David Hyde Pierce and Sigourney Weaver will be featured in the New York premiere of Lincoln Center Theater's VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE, a new play by Christopher Durang, to be directed by Nicholas Martin, beginning performances tonight, October 25 and opening Monday, November 12 at the Mitzi E. THE ADDAMS FAMILY Plays 5th Avenue Theatre for Halloween, Now thru 11/11

Just in time for Halloween, the first national tour of the new musical The Addams Family, will make its Seattle premiere tonight, October 24-November 11, 2012 at The 5th Avenue Theatre. Based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, this smash Broadway hit brings the darkly delirious world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and, of course, Lurch to spooky and spectacular life.

28th Annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles Set for Today, 10/14

AIDS Walk Los Angeles is the world's first fundraising event of its kind, and the event continues to keep the public engaged in the HIV/AIDS crisis. Last year, a passionate crowd of 30,000 walkers and 2,500 volunteers raised $3 million for HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and advocacy programs. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $72 million to fight the disease in Los Angeles County.

In 2006 (I think... my mind is a little fuzzy), I had the privilege to be part of the original cast of "Don't Quit Your Night Job"-­- an all Broadway Improv show. The show was created by Sarah Saltzberg, Steve Rosen, and David Rossmer. (PS - go see Steve and David in "The Other Josh Cohen" which starts previews Wed at the SoHo playhouse) all of them comedic gold. Now... it may seem like I'm milking my friends here, but I wouldn't post it if it wasn't true! Perez Hilton Sings 'A Perez Hilton Christmas' for Broadway's CAROLS FOR A CURE

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton added his voice to the 2012 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 14, singing an original song called 'A Perez Hilton Christmas,' with music by Lynn Pinto & Jason Michael Webb, and lyrics by George Howe & Frances Limoncelli. Perez Hilton is making his New York stage debut in the comical off-Broadway revue "NEWSical the Musical."

NJTV's STATE OF THE ARTS visits the playwright in his own Bucks County farmhouse, and talks to Hyde Pierce and Nielsen about working with Durang, who is also their longtime friend and colleague.
