HOBART BAROQUE is a brand new event celebrating the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. April 12 sees the inauguration of HOBART BAROQUE, nine days of exceptional performances by international and local musicians. To date, there has been no festival dedicated specifically to baroque music. That honour falls to Tasmania's capital, Hobart.

The Green Room Awards took place at The Famous Spiegeltent in Melbourne last night, and global favorite MARY POPPINS led the night with a total of nine awards out of its twelve nominations. Yana Alana and the Paranas in Concert, a cabaret production, was a close second for total awards with six out of eight cabaret awards.
