Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce that Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA has added two weeks to its premiere in Chicago due to popular demand. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph) for a limited 8-week engagement from January 9 - March 2, 2014.

SHN announced today that the first North American tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's new stage adaptation of THE WIZARD OF OZ will play a special engagement at the SHN Orpheum Theatre for two weeks only, October 16 - 27, 2013. Tickets go on sale Friday July 12 at 10am.

The duo will give a special performance, celebrating the production's latest monumental achievement: becoming the first show to ever to reach 25 years on Broadway.

The longest-running show in Broadway history, Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, directed by Harold Prince and produced by Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Theatre Company, Inc., will welcome West End star and Platinum-selling Swedish recording star Peter Joback to the New York cast this summer. Mr. Joback will assume the title role for a limited engagement from today, April 29 through Saturday, August 24, 2012.

Last night, Starlight Express was celebrating 29 years to the day when it opened at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in the West End. Since ending an incredibly successful 18-year run in London, the production has not been very far from our stages. How does one write about a work of art? Cameron Macintosh's touring production of The Phantom of the Opera is exactly that and brought the house down at the Birmingham Hippodrome last night. That itself shows the incredible draw that Phantom has some 27 years on.

Stagecoach Theatre Arts will perform CATS, by arrangement with The Really Useful Group Ltd at The National Indoor Arena in Birmingham on 24th March 2013. A few months ago, producers Hal Luftig and Scott Sanders announced that Grammy Award-winning international pop icon Ricky Martin as Che, Olivier Award-winning Argentinean actress Elena Roger as Eva Perón and Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris as Juan Perón would play their final performance on Saturday, January 26, 2013. At that time, it was announced as well that the should would be announcing new stars and the production would be continuing its run. Later, they have revealed that the show will play its final performance on Saturday, January 26, tonight, after 26 previews and 337 regular performances.
