The producers of the Tony-winning hit musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT just announced that Will Chase (NBC's "Smash") will take on the role of Jimmy Winter from Tuesday, August 21st to Sunday, August 26th only while two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick is on vacation. Broderick returns to the show full time on Tuesday, August 28th.

According to Perez Hilton, EVITA star Ricky Martin is staying in New York to continue his Broadway career. 'Do I want to come back to Broadway? I would love to do Broadway the rest of my life! Because it's challenging, because it makes me grow as an actor, as an entertainer, as an artist, and that's what I need, that's what I'm hooked on,' Martin told reporters. 'I AM staying here in New York! Those are my plans.'

MASTERWORKS BROADWAY announces that the New Broadway Cast Recording of Evita hasdebuted at #1 on Billboard's Cast Album chart. Produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Nigel Wright with Tim Rice as Executive Producer, this is the first complete English language stage recording of the show since the original 1979 Broadway cast album.

Victoria Clark, Harriet Harris, Ann Harada and Peter Bartlett will join Laura Osnes as Cinderella and Santino Fontana as the Prince in a workshop of the new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA August 2nd and 3rd in New York, it has been announced by the musical's producer Center Theatre Group in association with Robyn Goodman, Stephen Kocis and Jill Furman.

The final two weeks of performances begin today for Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony Award-winning production of Anything Goes. Scheduled to run through August 5th, the musical must end on Sunday, July 8th, 2012. Directed & choreographed by 2011 Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall, Anything Goes is playing on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street).

Today, June 20, Roundabout Theatre's production of Anything Goes celebrated its 500th Broadway performance. This acclaimed production marks the second longest Broadway run in Roundabout's history, following its beloved revival of Cabaret. As previously announced, the show, which won the 2011 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, will shutter on August 5, 2012. The producers of NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT have announced that Tony nominee Erin Dilly will take on the role of Billie Bendix from Sunday, July 15th to Sunday, July 29th only while four-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara brings FAR FROM HEAVEN to Williamstown Theatre Festival prior to a 2013 Playwrights Horizons run. O'Hara returns to the show full time on Tuesday, July 31st.

Roundabout has announced that the final eight weeks of performances begin today for the Tony Award winning production of Anything Goes. The original limited engagement subscription run opened on April 7, 2011 and was scheduled to run for 19 weeks. It went on to be extended three times through August 5, 2012 and this week, Anything Goes will celebrate its 500th performance on Broadway.
