Star of Broadway's Cinderella Laura Osnes appeared today, July 12, on Bloomberg Television's "Taking Stock" to discuss her life and career with Pimm Fox. Watch the interview below!

CINDERELLA -- the Rodgers + Hammerstein musical now at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway) -- played its 100th performance on Wednesday evening, May 29. The musical began previews on January 25 and had its official opening night on March 3. Written for CBS-TV in 1957, this production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella marks the musical's first-eve Broadway production, now in its 5th month of performances.

CINDERELLA won three 2013 Drama Desk Awards: Laura Osnes won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical for her performance in the title role in Cinderella, while William Ivey Long won the award for Outstanding Costume Design and Danny Troob won for Outstanding Orchestrations. William Ivey Long had previously won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Costume Design for Cinderella, and also took home this year's Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for the show.

CINDERELLA has music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, a new book by Douglas Carter Beane and original book by Oscar Hammerstein II. The musical is directed by Mark Brokaw. Josh Rhodes is choreographer. Music adaptation, supervision and arrangements are by David Chase. Orchestrations are by Danny Troob. Andy Einhorn is music director and conductor.
