In honor of Lookingglass Theatre Company's 2011 Regional Theatre Tony Award, Broadway World Chicago jumps down the rabbit hole all week long to gather what makes the Chicago-based ensemble tick. Today we look at the company's history.

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces added dates for Ethan Frome, the World Premiere of the Lookingglass Original Ethan Frome, directed and adapted from the novel by Edith Wharton by company member Laura Eason.

The Theatre School at DePaul University proudly presents the U.S. premiere of The Monster Under the Bed, by Kevin Dyer, directed by David Catlin, as the second installment of the 2010-2011 Chicago Playworks for Families and Young Audiences Series. This production opens Tuesday, January 11, and runs through Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at DePaul's historic Merle Reskin Theatre. Performances are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 10 AM and Saturdays at 2 PM. There will be no performances on January 22, 25, 27, or 29.

The Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. announced nominations for the 2009-2010 Atlanta professional theatrical season this evening to an enthusiastic crowd of patrons and theatre industry artists.
