Artists at Play hosts its annual Summer Salon at the Armory Center for the Arts today, May 28. The Summer Salon includes a champagne brunch and a special presentation of DINNER WITH FRIENDS by Donald Margulies, directed by Artists at Play founding member, Peter J. Kuo. All proceeds from the Summer Salon go towards Artists at Play's world premiere this fall of The Two Kids that Blow Shit Up by Carla Ching. To make a reservation, contact AAP.BoxOffice@gmail.com.
The Public & International Rescue Committee to Host WELCOME HOME: A CELEBRATION OF WORLD REFUGEE DAY

The Public Theater and International Rescue Committee announced today that a special free one-night-only Public Forum event, WELCOME HOME: A CELEBRATION OF WORLD REFUGEE DAY, will take place on Monday, June 20 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Free Public Forum tickets will be distributed, two per person (age 5+), at the Delacorte Theater beginning at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the Forum.
International Dance Piece PEARL to Launch North American Tour in Montreal

After a successful run at Broadway's Lincoln Center in August 2015, Pearl, the Canadian-American-Chinese dance theatre spectacular, inspired by the life of the Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Pearl S. Buck, begins its North American tour in Montreal. From June 14 to 18, there will be 5 nightly performances at 8pm in the Sandra and Leo Kolber Centre of the Imperial Theatre, located in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles at 1432 Bleury.

Royal Ballet Principal Natalia Osipova and 'bad boy of ballet' Sergei Polunin will dance the principal roles in the first movement of virtuoso young composer Adam Donen's epic Symphony to a Lost Generation , the world's first feature-length fully holographic dramatic production, a moving depiction of the human tragedy of the First World War. The production premieres at LSO St Luke's from the 28-31 May. Polunin and Osipova will be dancing together at Sadler's Wells in June.
