Coney Island USA's 34th Annual Mermaid Parade will begin at 1pm on Saturday, June 18, 2016. The parade starts at the corner of West 21st Street and Surf Avenue, and proceeds east on Surf Avenue to West 10th Street, where it turns south to the Boardwalk, and then north back to Steeplechase Plaza, where it concludes.

Songs from THE LION, the debut full-length record from award-winning American singer/songwriter, guitar player and playwright Benjamin Scheuer, is out June 3 via Paper Music/ADA.

The Public Theater and International Rescue Committee announced today that a special free one-night-only Public Forum event, WELCOME HOME: A CELEBRATION OF WORLD REFUGEE DAY, will take place on Monday, June 20 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Free Public Forum tickets will be distributed, two per person (age 5+), at the Delacorte Theater beginning at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the Forum.

PS122's Spring Gala 2016 celebrates three contemporary luminaries whose influence ripples across borders and through generations by honoring Annie-B Parson and Paul Lazar, the visionary team behind Big Dance Theater. Royal Ballet Principal Natalia Osipova and 'bad boy of ballet' Sergei Polunin will dance the principal roles in the first movement of virtuoso young composer Adam Donen's epic Symphony to a Lost Generation , the world's first feature-length fully holographic dramatic production, a moving depiction of the human tragedy of the First World War. The production premieres at LSO St Luke's from the 28-31 May. Polunin and Osipova will be dancing together at Sadler's Wells in June.
