Molissa Fenley And Company Presents THEIR MARK, An Evening Of New Dance And New Music

Molissa Fenley and Company, in collaboration with percussionist Frank Cassara and violist Ralph Farris, will present an evening of dance and live music, with scores by four contemporary composers. The program features four dances from Fenley's Water Table, three of which are New York premieres. The program also includes a new configuration of Fenley's 1979 work Mix. Performances are June 21–23 (Thursday–Saturday) at 8pm, at Danspace Project, 131 East 10th Street, New York, NY 10003.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced Questlove: Creative Quest, a one-night-only discussion and book signing event on April 28. Questlove-musician, bandleader, designer, producer, culinary entrepreneur, professor, founding Kennedy Center Hip Hop Culture Council member, and all-around cultural omnivore-will discuss his new book (released on April 24) and share his thoughts on the topics of creativity, inspiration, and originality with special guest Sanford Biggers, visual and interdisciplinary artist and moderator Ben Greenman (co-author, Mo' Meta Blues).

Born and raised in Rome, Roberto Campanella trained at the Scuola Italiana di Danza Contemporanea. In 1985, Roberto joined the Compagnia Italiana di Danza Contemporanea and later joined the prestigious Aterballetto. In 1993 he joined The National Ballet of Canada, where he was soon promoted to soloist and was cast in many classical and contemporary roles.

All-Star Band led by Music Director Martin Guigui, and others to headline an extraordinary 'Concert For Conservation' at the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association BEASTLY BALL on Saturday, May 19, 2018, 5:30 pm, at the L.A. Zoo, a leader in the preservation of some of the world's most critically endangered species and their habitats. Showcasing the enormous impact the Zoo has on animal conservation both locally and internationally, this year's signature fundraiser takes place on the heels of national Endangered Species Day to underscore the Zoo's commitment to saving animals from extinction. Today, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts announced two new performances in the Kauffman Center Presents series. Comedy-magic duo Penn & Teller will close out the 2017-2018 Kauffman Center Presents season on June 22. Country musicians Lee Greenwood and Dailey & Vincent will open the 2018-2019 series with a double-headliner concert on July 1.
