Michael Clark Company to Perform at Byham Theater, 11/1

Pittsburgh Dance Council, a division of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, brings award-winning British dance troupe Michael Clark Company on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. to the Byham Theater, 101 Sixth Street, downtown Pittsburgh. The evening's program features Clark's choreographic work come, been and gone. Michael Clark is considered one of Britain's leading choreographers and this performance will mark the company's Pittsburgh debut.

Charley 'Aitch' Bembridge Joins Cast of THREE MINUTE HEROES

The Belgrade Theatre has announced that Charley 'Aitch' Bembridge, founding member of The Selecter will join the cast of Bob Eaton's 2 Tone musical Three Minute Heroes this October. The former Selecter drummer and 2 Tone pioneer will join up-and-coming cast members Joseph Eaton-Kent, Conor Nolan, Sheldon Green, Elizah Jackson and Sarah Workman live on the B2 stage as drummer to the production's live ska band which also features Joey Hickman on Keyboard/Trombone, Dan McIntyre on Guitar and Michael Searl on Bass.

Daniel Boys, David Burt, Eve Polycarpou and Gina Beck to Star in 'JACQUES BREL' at Charing Cross This Autumn

This October 2014, Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris opens at the Charing Cross Theatre for a strictly limited six-week run from 16 October to 22 November 2014. Press night is set for Saturday 18 October at 7.45pm. Directed by multi-award-winning director Andrew Keates, the production features an all-star cast of Daniel Boys (Avenue Q, Spamalot, Love Story - also well-known from BBC's Any Dream Will Do, 2007), David Burt (The Merchant of Venice, The Beggars People, Plague Over England), Eve Polycarpou (In The Heights, Mother Courage, Jacques Brel - National Theatre, 1970s) and Gina Beck (Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Les Mise?rables).

'REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW' Closes Tomorrow Night Off-Broadway

The world premiere musical REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW… will conclude its Off-Broadway run Saturday evening, September 20th at the Minetta Lane Theatre. With book, music & lyrics by Ívar Pall Jonsson, the cast of REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW… is headed by Tony Award winner Cady Huffman and Kate Shindle. The Met Museum Presents The Costume Institute's CHINESE WHISPERS: TALES OF THE EAST IN ART, FILM, AND FASHION, 5/7

The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced today that The Costume Institute's spring 2015 exhibition will be Chinese Whispers: Tales of the East in Art, Film, and Fashion, on view from May 7 through August 16, 2015 (preceded on May 4 by The Costume Institute Benefit). Presented in the Museum's Chinese Galleries and Anna Wintour Costume Center, the exhibition will explore how China has fueled the creative imagination for centuries, resulting in layers of cultural translations, re-translations, and mistranslations. In this collaboration between The Costume Institute and the Department of Asian Art, high fashion will be juxtaposed with Chinese costumes, paintings, porcelains, and other art, as well as Chinese films to reveal ongoing dialogues between East and West, past and present.

SMOKE AND MIRRORS Reopens in North Hollywood Tonight Before NYC Run

The hit show Smoke and Mirrors created by and starring noted actor and lifetime Magic Castle member, Albie Selznick returns due to popular demand with new, spellbinding illusions and a darker, more poignant storyline under the recent inclusion of acclaimed director David Schweizer. Set to run in NYC in 2015, this limited engagement is the last opportunity to see L.A.'s most beloved theatrical-magical show before it disappears for its Off-Broadway premiere.
