According to published reports, Guys and Dolls alumna Lauren Graham may be joing the cast of Scream 4, which begins production on June 28 in Ann Arbor Michigan. No official statement on her participation has been released.

Yesterday, June 6, the 'GQ, Nautica, and Oceana World Oceans Day Party' was held at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California. The event was hosted by actress January Jones. David Arquette has joined the cast of Disney Television Animation's upcoming 'Jake and the Never Land Pirates,' an interactive series for preschoolers that follows the adventures of classic characters Captain Hook and Smee, along with a new crew of kid pirates led by the enthusiastic and courageous Jake. Arquette will voice the role of Skully, the lookout pirate parrot who helps Jake and crew foil Captain Hook's plans. 'Modern Family's' Ariel Winter lends her voice to the recurring role of Marina the mermaid. The series will premiere on Playhouse Disney-branded blocks and channels around the world in 2011.

Tonight, 'American Idol' presented a special episode, benefitting 'Idol Gives Back,' the historic Emmy Award-winning television event and music celebration, that has raised more than $140 million to benefit charities around the world and across the United States. Tonight, 'Idol' saluted a number of charities, including Feeding America, Save the Children, the United Nations Foundation, the Elton John Aids Foundation, and Idol Aid.

Hearing Margot Mason's (Annette Bening) brash opening words on the phone to her publisher 'F*** You!', people will either automatically turn on or turn off to Joanna Murray-Smith's The Female of the Species about the misadventures of a fictional best-selling feminist writer plagued by writer's block. This is an egomaniac who's used to getting her own way in every aspect of her life until an intruder turns her 'self-absorbed' world upside down. Farce is wildly exaggerated comedy, and as such, makes audience laugh out loud because they can see themselves onstage. The Female of the Species has enough laughter for three plays and still manages to be thought-provoking about contemporary gender misconceptions. Men and women are supposed to behave a certain way and when they don't...both are human after all, so why not ease up and view the whole issue with some humility.

The Actors Fund will present its annual gala on April 12 at the Marriot Marquis. Receiving The Actors Fund Medal of Honor this year is film and stage actress Annette Bening. Producer Kevin McCollum and entrepreneur Jonathan Tisch will also be honored.
