Jazz Ambassadors of Washington, DC to Perform at Morrison Center, 3/29

The internationally acclaimed Jazz Ambassadors of Washington, DC will continue its long tradition of presenting free public performances when it appears at the Morrison Center on Tuesday March 29, 2016 at 7:00 PM. The Jazz Ambassadors' concert in Boise is sponsored by the Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts. Additional support provided by the Idaho Statesman and the Gene Harris Jazz Festival.

Omaha Performing Arts presents The Brubeck Brothers Jazz Quartet - Tribute to Dave Brubeck on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. in the Scott Recital Hall of the Holland Performing Arts Center.

Apollo's Fire to Perform SEPHARDIC JOURNEY, 2/4

Back by popular demand - Apollo's Fire reprises its latest creative crossover program by Artistic Director Jeannette Sorrell, in collaboration with guest co-director Nell Snaidas.  “Sephardic Journey: Wanderings of the Spanish Jews” premiered in five sold-out concerts in February 2014.  The program will be performed during February 4-7 at several venues, including an important debut at the new Maltz Performing Arts Center of Case Western Reserve University. The performances will coincide with a highly anticipated release of the program on CD, for British record label AVIE.

Remi Bolduc Jazz Ensemble to Pay Tribute to Dave Brubeck at Anvil Centre Theatre

The Anvil Centre Theatre is presenting Montreal based Remi Bolduc Jazz Ensemble performing their new production, Tribute to Dave Brubeck, for one night only on Thursday, Jan. 14th at 8pm at the Anvil Centre Theatre, 777 Columbia Street, New Westminster. Tickets range from $25 - $50 plus service charges, available at ticketsnw.ca. The concert will offer cabaret style seating with table service as well as theatre seating.

Monterey Jazz Festival to Tour in 2016

Highlights of the tour include a five-night run at Birdland in New York City, with appearances at major performing arts centers and colleges in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Virginia.
