The Public Theater announced today that it will extend the acclaimed new production The Twenty-Seventh Man an additional week, through Sunday, December 16. Written by Nathan Englander and directed by Barry Edelstein, The Twenty-Seventh Man officially opened on Sunday, November 18 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, December 9.
Previews begin this Saturday evening November 24 at 8PM for the Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) World Premiere of THE GREAT GOD PAN, a new play by Obie Award winner Amy Herzog (After the Revolution at PH, 4000 Miles). Directed by Carolyn Cantor (After the Revolution and Essential Self-Defense at PH, Pumpgirl, Orange Water Flower), the production has an Opening Night set for Tuesday, December 18 at 7PM. The limited engagement will play through Sunday, January 6 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony® Award-winning play by Rick Elice which tells the back story of Peter Pan, announced today that the show will host a post-performance Halloween costume party on stage at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) on Tuesday, October 30. Both the young and the young at heart are encouraged to come to the 7:00 PM performance on Halloween Eve of Peter and the Starcatcher in their best Peter Pan inspired attire. After the show, ticket holders dressed in costume will be invited on stage to meet the cast and participate in a group photo.
On Monday, October 22, 2012, the Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) hosted the 30th Anniversary Princess Grace Awards Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City and presented 25 Awards to emerging artists in theater, dance and film, as well as the Princess Grace Statue Award presented to actor Patrick Page and sound designer Darron L West.
