The results are in! And, last night, after a month-long hiatus, GLEE came speeding back to the small screen with the spiffy and spunky new episode, "The Role You Were Born To Play" - a Michael Hitchcock-written, Brad Falchuk-directed entry to Fox's hit musical series centering on the auditions for this year's McKinley High musical - none other than the campy 50s musical comedy GREASE! And, indeed, GREASE is the word - and, furthermore, the musical GLEE was born to do.

The weather outside may be frightful, but this season, FOX makes the holidays delightful with a sleigh-ful of new and returning Thanksgiving and holiday favorites.

On tonight's episode of GLEE, titled, 'The Role You Were Born to Play,' the school production of Grease is underway, and Marley (Melissa Benoist), Jake (Jacob Artist), Kitty (Becca Tobin) and football player Ryder (Blake Jenner) compete to play "Danny" and "Sandy." Meanwhile, former Glee clubbers Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Mike (Harry Shum Jr.) return to cast the play, and Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) struggles with a difficult decision. Darren Criss, Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale decided to go 'Gangnam Style' to say 'thank you' to their loyal GLEE fans. To make up for the long break between airings of original episodes of the FOX musical dramedy, the actors gave a behind-the-scenes peek at the musical number airing November 8th which they are currently working on. TVline reports that GLEE star Grant Gustin will be heading over to The CW for a multi-episode story arc on 90210. The actor will portray 'a charming college student who comes from a privileged background.' Gustin is also set to reprise his role of Warbler crooner Sebastian on an upcoming episode of GLEE.

The University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance (SMTD), ranked among the top performing arts schools in the nation, has received an $8-million gift from William K. and Delores S. Brehm to renovate and expand one of the school's principal North Campus buildings, the Earl V. Moore Building, pending regental approval at the Nov. 15 meeting.

THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED continues the recent trend of area theatres to probe into the gay phenomenon. Though it is somewhat dated due to changing attitudes towards gays in the arts, it still makes for an interesting theatrical experience.

Glee star Darren Criss, who starred in Zadan and Meron's Broadway production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, presented the award to them, and while he was there he also sang a song that he never got to perform in the hit revival- 'Happy to Keep His Dinner Warm.' OUTFEST, the world's leading organization dedicated to showcasing, protecting and nurturing LGBT film imagery and artistry, announced today that it will honor award winning producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron at the 8th annual Legacy Awards. This year's event will take place tonight, October 13th at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

This week on Week Four of THE X FACTOR, the first round of contestants to make it into the competition for the $5 million recording contract were let go at boot camp - and, on GLEE, romantic walking papers were issued willy-nilly as four long-standing relationships between central characters came to a conclusion (at least for now).

According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, GLEE creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that the show will be doing a Moulin Rouge tribute episode.
