Westport Country Playhouse has partnered with Westport Animal Shelter Advocates (WASA) and the Pet Animal Welfare Society of CT (PAWS) around the Family Festivities show, "Are You My Mother?," based on the popular book about a baby bird searching for its mother.  The pet adoption organizations will bring some of their dogs for possible placement with families, on Sunday, April 10, from 2 to 3:45 p.m., in the Lucille Lortel White Barn Center on the Playhouse campus. There will be a chance to meet dogs currently available for adoption with applications on hand to start the adoption process.

Westport Country Playhouse's Family Festivities Series will present "Are You My Mother," a musical based on P. D. Eastman's whimsical and well-loved picture book, on Sunday, April 10, for two performances, at 1 p.m., and 4 p.m.   Running time is approximately one hour. Produced by ArtsPower, the show is recommended for grades pre-K and up.  Tickets are $20. 

Westport Country Playhouse's Family Festivities Series will present Lightwire Theater's "Moon Mouse:  A Space Odyssey," a cosmic adventure with music about Marvin the mouse, on Sunday, March 20, for two performances, at 1 p.m., and 4 p.m.  Lightwire Theater is internationally recognized for its signature brand of electroluminescent artistry and poignant storytelling. Recommended for age 5 and up, the show runs one-hour.  Tickets are $20.

White's story of the friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a spider named Charlotte, on Sunday, February 28, for three performances, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m.   Running time is approximately one hour. Produced by TheaterWorksUSA, the show is recommended for grades K - 5.  Tickets are $20.

Westport Country Playhouse will be all about dogs on Sunday, March 1, when it partners with The Westport Library's 'Reading to Rover' certified therapy dogs, tied into a presentation of the musical 'Dog Loves Books' on the Playhouse stage.

Running time is approximately one hour. Tickets are $20.

Westport Country Playhouse's annual fundraising event at Mitchells of Westport will celebrate Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist, for her many contributions to the arts in the community, on Thursday, December 4, 6 to 8 p.m. The evening will include food, wine, and music, as well as shopping at Mitchells, featuring men's and women's luxury apparel. Ten percent of purchases at the event will be donated to the Playhouse in the buyer's name.

Westport Country Playhouse's 2014-15 Family Festivities Series will present three performances of "Frosty," on Sunday, December 14, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. Due to ticket demand, the 11 a.m. performance was added with plenty of seating available. Seating is limited at the 1 and 4 p.m. shows.
