Italy's Dario D'Ambrosi, a radical innovator of the theater and founder of the movement called Teatro Patologico (Pathological Theater), will direct his newest play, 'Bong Bong Bong against the Walls, Ting Ting Ting in our Heads,' as the opening production of 'La MaMa Puppet Series IV--Built to Perform.'
'La MaMa Puppet Series IV -- Built to Perform,' the latest in La MaMa's celebrated annual puppet program, will premiere five adult puppet theater productions and remount a popular children's attraction this fall, exploring the artistic and creative possibilities of puppetry in all its forms. Signal Ensemble Theatre announces their 2010-2011, 8th anniversary season, including a remount of their hit Rolling Stones' play AFTERMATH, as well as taking up residence in a permanent, leased venue in Chicago's North Center/Lincoln Square district. This 50- to 60-seat adjustable theatre located at 1802 West Berenice Avenue has been Signal's rehearsal space for the past three years (in addition to using offices and storage in the building), and the former Breadline Theatre will be renamed as Signal Ensemble Theatre.

Opening night is scheduled for Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at 7:00pm. The production runs through Sunday, June 13; single tickets are on sale Friday, April 16.
