BALLERS and INSECURE Both Return to HBO This August

The hit comedy series BALLERS and INSECURE will kick off their new seasons back-to-back SUNDAY, AUG. 12 on HBO.

Following a triumphant 2017-18 season with an outstanding 38% 18-49 lead and a win in entertainment programming (even when Olympics and Super Bowl are factored out), NBC unveils a new year-round lineup that adds fresh voices, top talent and superb storytellers to an already thriving roster.  The new schedule, which will add five first-year dramas and two new comedies (and one transplant) over the course of the 2018-19 season, features a robust fall lineup that paves the way for a blockbuster midseason roster anchored by powerhouse alternative franchises.

With both series seeing record viewership this season, HBO has renewed the comedy series BALLERS for a fourth season and INSECURE for a third season, it was announced today by Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO Programming.

The “bawdy, sexy” (Neil Pond, Parade) and “ridiculously fun” (Rachel Smith, FOX-TV) comedy BAYWATCH makes waves with a new extended version, featuring outrageous footage not seen in theaters, on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack and Blu-ray Combo Pack August 29, 2017 from Paramount Home Media Distribution.  Fans can dive in two weeks early on Digital HD, August 15.

On Thursday, July 20, HBO will celebrate season three of its hit comedy 'BALLERS' with an exclusive VIP event featuring DJs Virgil Abloh and DJ Wonder, to mark the launch of its retail pop-up in Los Angeles.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dwayne Johnson has signed on to star in and produce JUNGLE CRUISE,  Disney's live-action adventure film adaptation of its iconic theme park ride.
