Five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb is proud to announce casting for SUMMERWORKS, its annual series of new plays. Now in its 20th season, SUMMERWORKS will run May 20th through June 29th at The Wild Project (195 E 3rd Street) in Manhattan, and will feature productions of three new plays: D DEB DEBBIE DEBORAH by Jerry Lieblich, directed by Lee Sunday Evans; CARD AND GIFT by Kate E. Ryan, directed by Ken Rus Schmoll; and MEN ON BOATS by Jaclyn Backhaus, directed by Will Davis. Due to popular demand, Theatre for A New Audience's production of Soho Rep.'s An Octoroon has been extended again and will play through March 29, Theatre for a New Audience Founding Artistic Director Jeffrey Horowitz announced.

Branden Jacobs-Jenkins's widely acclaimed play, directed by Sarah Benson, Artistic Director, Soho Rep, has played to sold out houses since previews began on February 14 and as a result of strong ticket sales, has added eight additional performances. Originally scheduled to end its run on March 8, An Octoroon will now play through March 15 at Theatre for a New Audience, Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place, Brooklyn. INTAR today announced that Adoration of the Old Woman by Jose Rivera and directed by Patricia McGregor, starring Raul Castillo (HBO's 'Looking'), Danielle Davenport, Jose Joaquin Perez, Socorro Santiago and Carmen Zilles, will continue through for another week, through April 27th to accommodate overwhelming demand.

As part of the company's 8th season, downtown theatre company The Amoralists will present full-length readings of 7 new plays at 'AmoralFEST 2014: Revengeance.' AmoralFEST is an annually curated series of public readings of full-length plays, portions of which The Amoralists have, over the course of the last season, read in AmoraLAB, the company's monthly(ish) experiment that hands their actors over to promising playwrights and their provocative new plays.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater presents its fourth annual TheaterJam, a one-day festival featuring the work of many of the company's favorite playwrights, actors and directors. The brainchild of playwright Dael Orlandersmith, the all-day event will take place at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South between West 11th & Perry Streets) tonight, June 2nd.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater presents its fourth annual TheaterJam, a one-day festival featuring the work of many of the company's favorite playwrights, actors and directors. The brainchild of playwright Dael Orlandersmith, the all-day event will take place at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South between West 11th & Perry Streets) on Sunday, June 2nd. Doors will open at 1:30pm. There is a $10 suggested admission charge (cash only) for all day entry - and includes one free beer. There will be a raffle drawing for amazing prizes. Patrons are free to come and go as they please and attend any - or all-of the festival's many offerings. All proceeds will benefit Rattlestick's upcoming 2013-14 season.

The Public Theater's world premiere of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' NEIGHBORS plays its final show on Sunday, March 14.
