INTAR presents Adoration of the Old Woman, by Jose Rivera and directed by Patricia McGregor, starring Raul Castillo (HBO's "Looking"), Danielle Davenport, Jose Joaquin Perez, Socorro Santiago and Carmen Zilles. This limited Off-Broadway engagement opens tonight, March 19 and continues through April 6th only. Below, BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action!
An ancient woman. A haunted bed. An angry teen. A sexy ghost. Political turmoil. Will Puerto Rico really become the 51st state or will it fight for its freedom. And all the coquis are dying. Welcome to the world of Adoration of the Old Woman.
Adoration of the Old Woman will have scenic design by Ryan Howell, lighting design by Miguel Angel Valderrama, and costume design by Dede Ayite.
Performances will be Wednesday evenings at 6pm, Thursday through Saturday evenings at 8pm and Sunday evenings at 5pm. Tickets, which are only $28, may be purchased at www.intartheatre.org or by calling 212-352-3101. All performances will take place at INTAR's theater space (500 West 52nd Street, at Tenth Avenue, on the 4th Floor).
