Acclaimed 1960s throwback group The Midtown Men are back on tour this fall, performing at Schenectady's Proctors Theatre tonight. The group, composed of Tony Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard, and Tony Award nominee J. Robert Spencer, performed on Broadway together in Jersey Boys for three years before forming The Midtown Men. With having performed over 2,000 live shows together, the group couldn't be more thrilled to be back on tour and bringing the music of the 60s to audiences both new and old. Tony Winner Christian Hoff was kind enough to speak with us and tell us a little about why The Midtown Men hold a special part in his heart.

Called "an ethereal vocal phenomenon' by The New York Times, Lipnik tells Justin about her latest album "Almost Back to Normal," her Sundaynight residency at the downtown NYC club Pangea, and her influences from Mothra to Laura Nyro. She and Justin wax rhapsodic about Tennessee Williams, the 13th Century poet Rumi and B-movies of the 50s. The Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival, a summer concert series dedicated to bringing world class artists up close and musical to its audiences in the Pocono Mountains, will hold its seventh annual season July 29th through August 7th at various locations in the Pocono region.

An amazing array of theater stars will be assembled by producer/writer/host Scott Siegel with the express purpose of singing the songs that they performed in their original Broadway productions. Decade upon decade of Broadway history will be on glorious display on the Feinstein's/54 Below stage on July 15, when a galaxy of stars from a the 20th and 21st centuries return to sing the songs that made (and make) the Great White Way great.

Broadway history repeats itself in high style at Feinstein's/54 Below on Friday, July 15th at 7 PM when some of Broadway's most memorable songs are performed by the Broadway stars who originated them on the Great White Way.

Broadway and West End veteran Alton Fitzgerald White (The Lion King, The Who's Tommy), Tony Award winner Faith Prince (Guys and Dolls, Disaster!), Tony Nominee Kerry Butler (Xanadu, Disaster!), and Drama Desk nominee Daniel Reichard (Jersey Boys) will give an inside look into their journey from the audition room all the way to opening night of the Broadway show that put them on the map. These four performers will be backed by a 16-piece Broadway orchestra.
