Producer Daniel Nardicio has announced that he will bring together two icons for one night only; Three-time Tony Award-winner Carol Channing will join queer icon and Tony Nominee Justin Vivian Bond in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes: An Intimate Evening with Carol Channing and Justin Vivian Bond on January 20, 2014 at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd St, NYC). Muscial direction for Mx Bond by Lance Horne. The event celebrates the 50th anniversary of Channing's most identified role, Dolly Gallagher Levi in Hello Dolly, which debuted at the St. James Theatre on January 16, 1964.

Gay resort Fire Island was abuzz as Broadway legend Carol Channing arrived Friday to perform Saturday night at Cherry Grove's Ice Palace. The 92 year old showbiz legend was part of Daniel Nardicio's Icon Series. Last year Nardicio paired Alan Cumming with Liza Minnelli, this year Channing performed with cabaret performer Justin Vivian Bond. Scroll down for photos from the concert!

Back in March, Liza Minnelli and Alan Cumming, in celebration of Liza's birthday, joined forces at The Town Hall to sing familiar songs from 'Cabaret' and and more. The show was previously performed at Fire Island last summer, produced by Daniel Nardicio, and according to Michael Musto for Out.com, the act will move again- this time to Broadway.

Today Daniel Nardicio, the New York/ Fire Island Producer, releases images created by illustrator Glen Hanson exclusively for Nardicio's 2013 Icon Series on Fire Island. The Icon Series, features performers such as three-time Tony Winner, one-time Golden Globe Winner and Oscar Nominee Carol Channing paired with queer icon Justin Vivian Bond, cult filmmaker John Waters, singer and Wonder Woman icon Lynda Carter, three-time Tony winner Broadway actress Chita Rivera, raconteur and Oscar Award Show-writer Bruce Vilanch, amongst others. The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the acclaimed comedy/variety show - will conclude its Spring 2013 season tonight, May 16 at The Duplex in New York's West Village. After a sell-out year, The Meeting* has added a second performance each month due to popular demand; there are now shows at 7:000 PM and 9:30 PM.
