Amas Musical Theatre in association with North Haven Arts and Enrichment welcomes Broadway's Josh Grisetti (Broadway Bound, Enter Laughing), Alli Mauzey (Wicked, Cry-Baby), and Kevin Pariseau (Legally Blonde) to lead the cast of the New York Premiere of Red Eye of Love, a new musical (based on the 1961 play by Arnold Weinstein) with book and lyrics by Arnold Weinstein and John Wulp, music by Sam Davisand scenic design by renowned American artist Robert Indiana. East West Players Presents BEIJING SPRING, Now thru 6/15

East West Players (EWP), the nation's largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work and the longest-running professional theatre of color in the country, concludes its 48th Anniversary Season Making Light, with 'Beijing Spring,' lyrics by Tim Dang and music by Joel Iwataki. Tim Dang is directing, Noriko Olling Wright is musical director, and choreographer is Marcus Choi.

Sharon Wilkins, Darren Ritchie & More Set for TRIPLE THREAT Concert Series at Vitello's Jazz and Supperclub, 5/19

On May 19, 2014, Vitello's Jazz and Supperclub presents Triple Threat, a monthly Broadway concert series, featuring some of LA's finest Broadway talent. This theme for this month's concert is Disney, and will feature Broadway singers performing songs from both Disney movies and musicals. Hosted by the voice of Louis the Alligator from Disney's The Princess and the Frog, Michael-Leon Wooley (Little Shop of Horrors, Five Guys Named Moe, The Music Man), the concert will feature performers Sharon Wilkins (Seussical, The Life, All Shook Up), J. Elaine Marcos (Annie, A Chorus Line, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert), Darren Ritchie (Dracula, Wonderland, Les Miserables), Rhett George (Sweet Charity, Memphis, Aida), Eric B. Anthony (The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Hairspray), Chandra Lee Schwartz (Gypsy, Wicked), Stephanie Fredricks (Wonderful Town), Anne Letscher (Fiddler on the Roof), Daniel May (Flower Drum Song), Haviland Stillwell (Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof), Deedee Magno Hall (Miss Saigon), and Michelle Loucadoux (The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast).

Last Chance To See MOJO, Closes Feb 8

Ian Rickson's critically acclaimed revival of Jez Butterworth's award-winning Mojo will complete its run on 8 February 2014 as previously announced. Earlier this month, Mojo, which has been playing to packed houses at the Harold Pinter Theatre since its opening in October, announced an extension to its West End run due to public demand.

In an interview with BadTast.it, Peter Jackson has confirmed that plans are still in the works for a follow up to the hit film 'Tintin'. The famed director will begin work on the project as soon as he finishes up with 'The Hobbit' series of films.

MOJO with Rupert Grint Extends Through 8 Feb, 2014

Ian Rickson's critically acclaimed West End revival of Jez Butterworth's award-winning Mojo today announces a further two weeks of performances due to public demand. Mojo, which is playing to packed houses at the Harold Pinter Theatre, will now complete its run on 8 February 2014 with its original cast - Brendan Coyle (Mickey), Rupert Grint (Sweets), Tom Rhys Harries (Silver Johnny), Daniel Mays (Potts), Colin Morgan (Skinny) and Ben Whishaw (Baby).

Pasadena Playhouse Kicks Off Talkback Todays for TWELVE ANGRY MEN Tonight

The Honorable Lance A. Ito, Honorable Lance A. Ito, Curtis Silver of United Negro College Fund, Daniel Mayeda, Co-Chair of Asian Pacific American Media Coalition, Dr. Jorge Huerta, UC-San Diego Professor of Theatre Emeritus California, and Twelve Angry Men cast member Jason George, Chair of the National Diversity Advisory Committee for SAG/AFTRA lead the list of community members discussing the play as part of the new Talkback Tuesdays series at The Pasadena Playhouse. Ito, Mayeda, Huerta and George will join six other esteemed panel members for these post-performance discussions tonight, November 12 and November 19 and 26. The Pasadena Playhouse artistic director Sheldon Epps, who is the director of Twelve Angry Men will participate in all three Talkback Tuesday events.
