FATC Presents LIFE OF GALILEO 7/14-31

Fordham Alumni Theatre Company, now in its fourth season, presents Life Of Galileo for a limited run at the Veronica Lally Kehoe Theatre, located at Fordham University's Lincoln Center Campus (113 West 60th Street at Columbus Ave.) Performances begin on Thursday, July 14th and run through Sunday, July 31st.

Amongst the winners were several with Broadway backgrounds: Bill Sherman (composer) and Chris Jackson (lyricist) for Sesame Street's original song 'What I Am' and Willie Reale as a co-executive producer of The Electric Company on PBS.

Gamblers and gangsters, shysters and low-lifes alike will take over The 5th Avenue Theatre when Guys and Dolls swaggers on to the stage in a swinging reimagining of Frank Loesser's iconic hit (book by Joe Swerling and Abe Burrows.) Featuring beloved hit songs including 'Luck Be a Lady,' 'If I were a Bell,' 'Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat,' and the titular song 'Guys and Dolls,' this celebrated ode to American gangsters and the dolls that love them was hailed by the New York Times as 'the show that defines Broadway dazzle,' with Newsweek declaring 'This is why Broadway was born!' Featuring a stellar cast including 30 Rock regular Todd Buonopane and Seattle stage stars Clayton Corzatte, Daniel Levine, Brandon O'Neill, and Billie Wildrick, alongside rising starlet Katherine Strohmaier, with Peter Rothstein at the helm and choreography by Noah Racey, Guys and Dolls plays May 12-June 15 (press opening May 19 ) at The 5th Avenue Theatre (1308 5th Avenue, Seattle.) On March 18th, Pan Asian Repertory Theatre celebrated the opening night of Vietnam Project II: Past and Present at the West End Theatre. Continuing their pioneering tradition of presenting bilingual productions, the series offers two productions from Vietnamese-American playwrights: WE ARE written and directed by Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc, a bilingual production, performed in Vietnamese and English, incorporating the traditions of Vietnam's rich cultural past, and Monster by Derek Nguyen and directed by Kaipo Schwab, an English language modern day detective drama.
