City Theatre Artistic Director Tracy Brigden has announced the first three plays of the 2017-18 season. The South Side company's 43rd season will kick off with a trio of adventurous Pittsburgh premieres, including The Old Man and The Old Moon by PigPen Theatre Company, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City by Halley Feiffer,and the world premiere of Citizens Market by Cori Thomas. Also on the schedule is the original Late Nite Catechismas a limited-run City Event. Full season subscriptions are on sale now; three more plays will be announced in April.
