Playwrights Foundation announces the plays and playwrights of the 2018 Bay Area Playwrights Festival (BAPF) running July 20-29, 2018 at Potrero Stage, 1895 18th St in San Francisco. The Artistic Teams for #BAPF2018 features Directors Erik Pearson, Christine Young, Margo Hall, Daniel Banks, Lauren English, and Ken Savage. The annual Retreat in June is a centerpiece of McCarter's LAB, a platform and creative incubator devoted to ongoing theatrical development and artist cultivation. Admission is free. Donations will be encouraged to benefit Ft. Worth's LGBTQ S.A.V.E.S., a local youth advocacy and service organization.

Part of an international reading scheme which aims to honor veterans of wars recent and past and to promote spiritual healing, SPARK will be performed across the United States and abroad throughout the month of November; thirty-nine readings of the play are currently confirmed.
