Opera Columbus will launch its 44th season with the Columbus premiere of Rappaccini’s Daughter (La hija de Rappaccini), presented at the Southern Theatre on September 19 and 21, 2025.

Opera Columbus will open its 44th season with the Columbus premiere of Daniel Catán’s Rappaccini’s Daughter, performed in Spanish with English and Spanish supertitles at the Southern Theatre on September 19 and 21, 2025.

From July 4-22, 2025, the Newport Classical Music Festival offers an unparalleled experience, combining 29 intimate concerts featuring over 100 artists with the grandeur and opulence of 11 iconic venues.

Festival Opera’s 32nd annual season will continue Sunday, August 6 at 4 p.m., when the company returns to the lush grounds of Walnut Creek’s Civic Park for a free Opera in the Park concert, made possible by the Walnut Creek Civic Pride Foundation. The park is located at 1375 Civic Drive, Walnut Creek.

Festival Opera will return to the beautiful setting of Orinda Community Park on Thursday, June 22 at 6 p.m., with the 13th Annual Opera in the Park concert. Free and ample lawn seating will await attendees along with a selection of food and wine trucks to enable their summer repast al fresco.

Soho Rep has announced a one-week extension, to November 20, of its nearly-sold-out world premiere production of Montag, written by Kate Tarker (THUNDERBODIES at Soho Rep; Dionysus Was Such a Nice Man) and directed by Dustin Wills (Wolf Play, presented by Soho Rep & Ma-Yi Theater Company; Frontières Sans Frontières).

Soho Rep will present Montag, written by Kate Tarker, directed by Dustin Wills and with original opera music by Daniel Schlosberg. The world premiere production of Montag runs October 12–November 13 at Soho Rep.

Walnut Creek's revitalized Festival Opera, led by General Director Zachary Gordin, continues its 31st season with an all-new production of Bellini's Norma, featuring acclaimed singer Shana Blake Hill (she/her) in the title role, directed by Mark Foehringer and conducted by Bryan Nies, with the Festival Opera Orchestra and Chorus.

Opera in the Heights, after a year and a half of alternative programming online and outdoors, has announced its return to fully-staged productions in its home venue, Lambert Hall. Headlining the season will be original productions of Verdi's Il Trovatore (November 13, 14, 19, 21, 2021) and Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin (April 2, 3, 8, 10, 2022).

Six popular Sarasota Opera past productions will be broadcast on Classical WSMR radio beginning Saturday, October 23rd at 1pm Eastern Time: Verdi's Otello (2012), D'Albert's Tiefland (2018) on October 30th, Puccini's La bohème (2020) on November 6th, Montemezzi's The Love of Three Kings (L'amore dei tre rei) (2017) on November 13th, and more.

Opera Memphis will present Derrick Wang's comic opera Scalia/Ginsburg for ONE NIGHT ONLY at the Germantown Performing Arts Center.
