The upcoming Off-Broadway production LIBERTY: A Monumental New Musical will celebrate Lady Liberty's 124th Birthday aboard World Yacht on Thursday, October 28, 2010.

Producer Theresa Wozunk announced today that LIBERTY: A MONUMENTAL NEW MUSICAL will join New York City in celebration of Immigrant Heritage Week with three special presentations April 16 and 17, 2010. Presentations of the new musical will take place at NYC's New 42nd Street Studios (229 West 42nd Street) on Friday, April 16 at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm and on Saturday, April 17 at 2:00 pm.

Diana Degarmo, star of the Off-Broadway hit The TOXIC AVENGER; will play the title role in a one-night-only, concert presentation of LIBERTY: A NEW MUSICAL. Produced by the New York Musical Theater Festival and Theresa Wozunk, LIBERTY: A NEW MUSICAL will make its premiere at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Theatre Row?s Acorn Theatre (410 W 42nd Street). The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) today announced the complete schedule for the 2009 Festival, which will begin September 28th and continue through October 18th. A full breakdown of this year's performances and venues follows.

Recording artist and Broadway performer Sasha Allen (Hair) will perform the song 'Huddled Masses' from the upcoming new musical LIBERTY at the reopening of the Statue of Liberty crown, which was closed after the 9/11 attacks, on Saturday, July 4, 2009. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 9:00 a.m. on NYC's Liberty Island with the performance taking place at 9:40 a.m. The City Lights Youth Theatre will perform 'Huddled Masses' and 'Horizon' on Liberty Island at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
