West End LIVE, the world's largest free entertainment festival, returns to the heart of London to showcase the magic of the world-class West End theatre scene over the weekend of 19 and 20 June 2010.
Richard Fleeshman will join the cast of the critically acclaimed Legally Blonde The Musical from 16 June to play Warner Huntington III opposite Sheridan Smith as Elle Woods, Jill Halfpenny as Paulette, Peter Davison as Professor Callahan and Alex Gaumond as Emmett. Fleeshman takes over the role of Warner Huntington III from Duncan James whose final performance will be 14 June 2010. Legally Blonde The Musical, which opened at the Savoy Theatre earlier this year, is currently booking until 20 February 2011.
The West End production of LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL will receive its own cast recording, according to a post on the musical's Facebook page on May 21st. The show will be recorded live on June 12, 13, and 14 for a yet-to-be-announced release date.

The musical version of Helen Fielding's popular novel, 'Bridget Jones's Diary,' is being workshopped with thoughts of a possible West End production, the Daily Mail reported today. Fielding is working with British recording artist Lily Allen and Greg Kurstin on the musical's score and lyrics and is working on the book with assistance from Julian Webber. Stephen Daldry, the director of BILLY ELLIOT, will direct the workshop alongside Webber and choreographer Peter Darling; Working Title will produce.

The SculptureCenter host two events including Expanded, Exploded, Collapsed? on Monday, April 19th at 6:30 PM at the Theresa Lang Center at The New School 55 West 13th Streer. Panelist include Johanna Burton, Josiah McElheny, and William Pope. Moderated by Fionn Meade. The panel will reconsider the concept of the 'expanded field' in light of contemporary art prodcution.
