Luba Mason & Karen Kohler to Lead Robert Sickinger's NICHOLAS NICKLEBY at TNC, 4/17-5/5

Theater for the New City, Crystal Field, Executive Director presents Nicholas Nickleby, A New Musical based on the classic Charles Dickens novel with book by Robert Sickinger, music and lyrics by Alaric Jans. Performances will be staged Off-Broadway at the Joyce and Seward Johnson Theater at Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue (bet. 9th and 10th Streets), New York, NY 10003 from April 17-May 5, 2014.

The Private Theatre and director John Gould Rubin will present an invitation-only reading of the play A Queen For A Day, written byMichael Ricigliano, Jr and directed by John Gould Rubin, at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center (kaufman-center.org) at 129 West 67h Street in Manhattan on Monday, January 6th, 2014.

Review Roundup: A CHRISTMAS STORY Returns for Holiday Engagement at Theater at Madison Square Garden

Reprising their roles are Dan Lauria (Lombardi, 'The Wonder Years,' 'Sullivan and Son') as Jean Shepherd, John Bolton(Spamalot, Contact, Titanic, 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Gossip Girl') as the Old Man, Tony Award nominee Erin Dilly (Nice Work if You Can Get It, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as Mother and Caroline O'Connor (Chicago, Moulin Rouge) as school teacher Miss Shields. Eli Tokash (Mary Poppins) plays Ralphie at certain perforances, Noah Baird as little brother Randy, and Jake Lucas (Newsies, Far From Heaven), donning the famous spectacles will take on the lead role of Ralphie.

Photo Flash: Ron Perlman, Richard Kind and More Raise $130K at SAG Foundation's NY Golf Classic

On Monday, October 7th, the Screen Actors Guild Foundation raised over $130,000 for its Catastrophic Health Fund and Assistance programs at its inaugural New York Golf Classic at Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, NY. Actor and SAG Foundation Board Member Ron Perlman hosted the first New York tournament benefitting performers facing life-threatening illnesses and severe economic hardship. Marlo Thomas to Lead World Premiere of Joe DiPietro's CLEVER LITTLE LIES at George Street Playhouse; Performances to Begin 11/19

George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint have announced the casting of MARLO THOMAS, award-winning actress of stage and screen, in the world premiere production of Clever Little Lies, by Tony Award-winner JOE DiPIETRO (rescheduled from the 2012-13 season). Mr. Saint will helm the production, slated to take the stage in New Brunswick, November 19 - December 22. The remainder of the cast will be announced at a later date.

Eagle Theatre to Present LOMBARDI, 9/20-10/12

Lombardi swept onto Broadway in 2010 garnering strong reviews for Dan Lauria, who starred as the Green Bay Packers coach, and the play itself. Now, the Eagle Theatre of Hammonton, N.J., will become one of the first professional theatres in America to produce the play since it closed on Broadway when it runs from September 20 until October 12.

Wendie Malick to Lead Berkshire Playwrights Lab's Staged Reading of THE HANDYMAN, 8/7

Berkshire Playwrights Lab will present a staged reading of Richard Dresser's The Handyman, directed by Joe Cacaci, on Wednesday, August 7 at 7:30pm at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center (14 Castle Street, Great Barrington, Mass.). The cast will include Wendie Malick, currently co-starring in TV Land's Hot in Cleveland, Berkshire Playwrights Lab Co-Artistic Director Jim Frangione, and two other actors TBA. There is no charge for admission, however, Berkshire Playwrights Lab suggests a $10.00 donation to help offset its programming costs. Kunal Nayyar to Guest on Season Two of TBS's SULLIVAN & SON

Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory) is set to guest-star during the second season of Sullivan & Son, the hit TBS sitcom starring Steve Byrne as a former corporate attorney who now runs his parents' pub in Pittsburgh.
