Tony Taccone Will Now Direct AUBERGINE at Berkeley Rep in 2016

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced that Michael Liebert Artistic Director Tony Taccone will direct the upcoming production of Aubergine, by Julia Cho, which is scheduled to have its world premiere performances at the Theatre in February 2016. Liesl Tommy, Berkeley Rep's former associate director, has had to withdraw from the production following the just-announced Broadway transfer of Eclipsed, which Tommy is directing at the Public Theater in New York.

PlayMakers Rep Launch 2015-16 Season with UNCLE HO TO UNCLE SAM Tonight

PlayMakers Repertory Company will present the regional premieres of three thought-provoking productions in its 2015-2016 PRC2 second-stage series. The series kicks off tonight, August 26, through August 30 with Trieu Tran's powerful one-man show 'Uncle Ho to Uncle Sam.'

Working Theater's FIVE BOROUGHS / ONE CITY Set for Abingdon Complex This Weekend

Working Theater, the Off-Broadway company under the direction of Artistic Producing Director Mark Plesent, will continue celebrating its 30th Anniversary season by presenting 'work in progress' showings of the FIVE BOROUGHS / ONE CITY plays that five teams of critically acclaimed playwrights and directors have developed in collaboration with communities and residents in each of the five boroughs in New York City. Showings will be held May 6 - May 10 at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, 312 West 36th Street, first floor.

Dan Hoyle's EACH AND EVERY THING Coming to Circle X Theatre Co.

Circle X Theatre Co. will present the LA Premiere of Dan Hoyle's EACH AND EVERY THING, straight from Joe's Pub at The Public Theater in New York City. The Poets' Theatre Presents ALBATROSS, Now thru 3/1

The Poets' Theatre has announced Albatross, a solo performance piece adapted from Samuel Taylor Coleridge's captivating classic, 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.' The adaptation, written by Matthew Spangler and Benjamin Evett, is directed by Boston theater alum Rick Lombardo and features Benjamin Evett. Albatross will be on stage at the Liebergott Black Box at Emerson University, running tonight, February 13th through March 1st 2015.

Bridget Everett, Mother Falcon, Paris Jazz Club and More Set for APAP|NYC at Joe's Pub, Now thru 1/13

This month, ?Joe's Pub at The Public presents showcases from a range of artists including writer Dan Hoyle to orchestral indie band Mother Falcon to downtown darling Erin Markey to a slew of French jazz musicians, as part of the Paris Jazz Club's French Quarter Festival, coinciding with APAP|NYC, the annual Association of Performing Artists Presenters conference. The performances will occur nightly from tonight, January 8 through Tuesday, January 13.

Award-winning New York actor/playwright Dan Hoyle's newest solo show, Each And Every Thing, will play Joe's Pub at The Public Theater for two special performances in the new year, following its sold-out, one-night-only engagement at the Pub in October.
