The new developmental production of How Now, Dow Jones starring Cristen Paige (Spelling Bee, The Visit, Cry-Baby), Colin Hanlon (Rent, I Love You Because) and Fred Berman (The Normal Heart, Room Service) will begin performances this Saturday at the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane) as part of the 2009 New York International Fringe Festival. This new production will also restore an Elmer Bernstein-Carolyn Leigh cabaret favorite to the show: 'Shakespeare Lied'.

The producers of the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production of' Thornton Wilder's Our Town, have announced that Obie Award-winner Jason Butler Harner will assume the central role of 'Stage Manager' in David Cromer's staging of Wilder's timeless play. Beginning Tuesday, August 25th, Mr. Harner will succeed Mr. Cromer who departs the company to begin rehearsals for his Broadway directorial debut this fall with Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs and Broadway Bound.

The Civilians' Artistic Director Steve Cosson ('This Beautiful City'), composer Michael Friedman ('This Beautiful City,' 'Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson') and book writer Bess Wohl ('Cats Talk Back,' 'In') have begun investigations in Los Angeles for an untitled porn musical. Sas Goldberg, Danny Mastrogiorgio, Cristin Milioti, Steven Rattazzi, Jeanine Serralles and Charlayne Woodard will be featured in STUNNING, a new play by David Adjmi, to be directed by Anne Kauffman. STUNNING will begin performances Monday, June 1 at 8pm, open Thursday, June 18 at 6:45pm and run through Saturday, June 27 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, (229 W. 42 Street).
