A first-ballot Hall of Famer, World Series champion and Cy Young Award winner, John Smoltz has been named the lead analyst for FOX Sports' presentation of Major League Baseball regular and postseason games

On last night's TONIGHT SHOW, Jimmy welcomed two-time Cy Young Award-winner Bret Saberhagen on the show to rap congratulations to the World Series champion Kansas City Royals.

?As rosters across Major League Baseball are trimmed and clubs soon break camp, FOX Sports turns in a deep lineup of its own, with a mix of newcomers and returning veterans, as game crews and studio personalities for the coming 2015 season are announced today.

FOX Sports added to its already deep MLB lineup, today announcing that former Cy Young Award winner John Smoltz and nationally renowned broadcaster Matt Vasgersian team up to call MLB games on the FOX Broadcast Network and FOX Sports 1. The announcement was made by John Entz, Executive Vice President, Production & Executive Producer, FOX Sports. Smoltz and Vasgersian join the game roster that already includes Joe Buck, Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci, reporters Erin Andrews and Ken Rosenthal, and play-by-play announcers Kenny Albert and Thom Brennaman.

The Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival's 2014 preview performances begin tonight, February 14, and the season will open Friday night, February 21 in the Angus Bowmer Theatre with Shakespeare's The Tempest (director, Tony Taccone). On Saturday, Lorraine Hansberry's The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window (Juliette Carrillo) takes the stage, as does the classic Marx Brothers musical The Cocoanuts (David Ivers), and Sunday afternoon Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors (Kent Gash) opens in the Thomas Theatre.

Beginning today, July 8, the exhibition LEGENDS OF THE DEAD BALL ERA (1900-1919) in the Collection of Jefferson R. Burdick, on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, will feature nearly 600 historical trade cards of baseball greats from the time. The exhibition will run until December 1 and will be located in the The Henry R. Luce Center for the Study of American Art, The American Wing, mezzanine.
