AT HAND THEATRE COMPANY's 3rd annual Earth Day concert, BROADWAY RECYCLED,will take place on Sunday, April 22nd at 7pm at Joe's Pub. The concert of songs cut from musicals - songs that shouldn't go to waste - benefits the Broadway Green Alliance and At Hand Theatre Company. The concert will be directed by Jennifer Ashley Tepper with musical direction by Julie McBride. It is produced by Justin Scribner and Matthew DiCarlo.
Broadway Recycled features Broadway performers singing songs cut from shows - that shouldn't go to waste! Now in its third year, this Earth Day concert at Joe's Pub has previously featured some of the most talented performers on Broadway, including Anthony Rapp, Ann Harada, Andy Karl, Mario Cantone, and composer Jason Robert Brown. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the musical BARE is officially getting a new lease on life, beginning with two industry readings next week, October 31 and November 1. The Damon Intrabartolo and Jon Hartmere piece will be directed by Stafford Arima and Lynne Shankel will musical direct.

Tony winner ALice Ripley has been absent from the Chicago engagment of the NEXT TO NORMAL tur thus far, because of a knee injury, according to the Chicago Tribune. A representative from Broadway in Chicago revealed that Ripley is expected to return to the show tonight, May 5.
