Trinity Repertory Company has announced that they have been included in Providence Place Gives, a fundraising event hosted by Providence Place and sponsored by Rhode Island Monthly. The event will take place today, October 28, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Trinity Repertory Company has announced that they have received a $50,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation to the theater and its programming. Through this award, Bank of America is recognizing the economic impact Trinity Rep's performances and educational programs have on the region. The grant is part of a national multi-million dollar investment by Bank of America to create economically vibrant communities that are better places in which to live and do business.

Hometown favorite Bruce Nelson stars in this madcap, touching tale of the morbid life and mysterious final days of Baltimore's treasured emblem of oddness, Edgar Allan Poe. Previews begin tonight, October 17.

Trinity Rep celebrates the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens with their annual presentation of his classic tale of A Christmas Carol, as adapted by Adrian Hall and Richard Cumming, presented by Cardi's Furniture with supporting sponsor Amica Insurance. Performances begin on November 10th and run through December 29th.
