Fresh off her second season of RUPAUL'S DRAG U on Logo as the Dean Of Drag, Lady Bunny, the iconic New York drag diva of Wigstock has announced an extension to the super raunchy, THAT AIN'T NO LADY!, her first one woman cabaret show in almost a decade...bringing some much-needed trash back to the increasingly Disney-fied Times Square area. The production is currently in previews at La Escuelita Cabaret Theater, (301 W 39th St. @ Eighth Ave) and has now been extended for an open run. The official opening will be on Tuesday, December 5, 2011.

The 24th Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns benefit, held on Saturday March 27, honored famed director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell. Featured performers included actors from 'Football Strip' and Stimulus Package,' Broadway star Terri White, music artist Crystal Waters, pop singers Kristine W. and Kelly King, and drag queens Coco Peru and and Jesse Volt. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the celebration.

Last week, as BroadwayWorld previously reported, members of Broadway Bares, Tom Viola (Broadway Cares /Equity Fights AIDS), David Ludwigson (God's Love We Deliver), and The Imperial Court of New York's Emperor XVIII Tony Monteleone & Empress XXIII Anne Tique assembled at Times Square's Red Stairs yesterday in anticipation of the extravagant charity event - the 24th Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns.
