The company is now in Houston, where is plays through the weekend, and will next head to Tulsa from November 1 through November 6). The 2010 Tony Award-winning Best Musical MEMPHIS announced casting today for the U.S. national tour of the critically acclaimed production. The national tour of MEMPHIS will star Bryan Fenkart (Huey) and Felicia Boswell (Felicia) with Quentin Earl Darrington (Delray), Rhett George (Gator), Julie Johnson (Mama), Will Mann (Bobby), and William Parry (Mr. Simmons).

The Tony Award-winning revival of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical will bow early in the West End on September 4, 2010, producers have revealed. While the production was scheduled to run through January 2011, the producers have reportedly decided not to recast the show after the current cast's contracts are up on September 4. The production opened at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End April 14th, 2010.

Kern, Creek, et. al Join London's HAIR Tribe

Broadway veterans Kevin Kern, Luther Creek, Crystal Joy and Phyre Hawkins have officially joined London's HAIR Tribe, which is set to begin performances at the Gielgud Theatre on April 1st. The join most of the original Broadway cast, which is making the transfer. A new Tribe opened on Broadway in early March.

The 'Just A Piano' concept broadened for this series inviting singers to also bring accompanists or pre-recorded tracks, musical instruments or play on The Triad's recently refurbished baby grand. All proceeds from the event were donated to The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund and The American Red Cross.
