Temple Theaters Opens with Lynn Nottage's CRUMBS FROM THE TABLE OF JOY

Temple Theaters opens its 49th anniversary season with Crumbs from the Table of Joy by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynne Nottage. Directed by Lee Kenneth Richardson, this memory play is a thought-provoking coming-of-age story set in 1950s New York City. Featuring a small cast of undergraduate and graduate student actors the production runs September 21 - October 2 in Temple University's Randall Theater.

Off-Broadway's THE WOODSMAN to Continue 'Theater Close-Up' on THIRTEEN

Theater Close-Up -- the unique collaboration between THIRTEEN and the large community of New York City area Off-Broadway theaters -- will present The Woodsman, captured live on-stage in partnership with streaming service BroadwayHD, in THIRTEEN's trademark 'up-close' style.

M-34 to Present SWEAT & TEARS at JACK in Brooklyn, 7/22-31

M-34 will present the devised physical theatre piece Sweat & Tears, created by Jess Goldschmidt (Tall Women in Clogs at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe; W.R. Salome at Dixon Place) and James Rutherford (All That Dies And Rises at IATI; The Importance of Being Ernest Hemingway at Access Theater) at JACK (502 1/2 Waverly Avenue between Fulton Street and Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn) July 22-31 with performances on Friday, July 22, Saturday, July 23, Sunday, July 24, Monday, July 25, Thursday, July 28, Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30 at 8pm and Sunday, July 31 at 3pm. Tickets ($15) are available for advance purchase atwww.artful.ly/store/events/9368. The performance will run 1 hour and 15 minutes, with no intermission.

Tom Grace, Matt Ray Brown and Rory Fairbairn Announced for JOURNEY'S END Tour

Immersion Theatre today announced lead casting for their Autumn 2016 tour of R.C. Sherriff's Journey's End. Tom Grace (The Ilyiad, Labyrinth) will play Stanhope, and will be joined by Matt Ray Brown (1984, Ghosts) as Osborne and Rory Fairbairn (Madame X, Blackout) as Raleigh.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis presents Satchel Paige and the Kansas City Swing by Trey Ellis and Ricardo Khan and directed by Ricardo Khan. This freewheeling take on one of baseball's greatest personalities runs March 16-April 10 on the Browning Mainstage of the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts.
