The West End production of LES MISERABLES welcomed some new cast members last month, including Broadway veteran Sierra Boggess as 'Fantine', as well as 'Over the Rainbow' winner Danielle Hope as 'Eponine.' Additional current cast members include: Geronimo Rauch, Tam Mutu, Cameron Blakely, Linzi Hateley, Samantha Dorsey, Liam Tamne, and Craig Mather. The Plaza Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts is the ideal venue for Centastage's atmospheric world premiere of THE FAKUS: A NOIR by Joe Byers. The small, dark space is tailor-made for the mysterious story involving $100,000, visions of the Virgin Mary, and questions about who can be trusted. Dark shadows and red herrings abound.
Newton's Bobbie Steinbach has been named to the role of "Mrs. Joseph Patrick Paul Costello" in the world premiere production of The Fakus - A Noir, a head-spinning romp mixing money, passion and dreams. Centastage will debut the new play by Joe Byers, directed by Joe Antoun, performing from September 21st through October 6th at the Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Theatre, 539 Tremont Street, Boston. Cameron Mackintosh announced today that Ramin Karimloo will extend his run playing 'Jean Valjean' in the legendary musical "LES MISÉRABLES" at the Queen's Theatre until 31 March 2012. David Shannon will then return to the role of 'Jean Valjean' from Tuesday 3 April - Saturday 16 June 2012. He will be followed by Geronimo Rauch who will play the role from Monday 18 June 2012 until Saturday 15 June 2013
