An American in Paris, which opened April 12, 205, at the Palace Theatre, just celebrated it's 100th performance. As if the night wasn't exciting enough, one lucky audience member was called up on stage to join the cast to receive a free trip to Paris, France. The regional premiere of THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA opened at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival and runs through July 15.  1950s Florence, Italy.  A love story for everyone. On a trip to Florence, Margaret and her daughter Clara have a chance encounter with a young Italian man named Fabrizio. Clara and Fabrizio begin to fall for each other while Margaret wrestles with her concerns over Clara and her future. Book by Craig Lucas, Music and Lyrics by Adam Guettel.

Mercy Street Theatre continues its debut season with the world premiere of ROTPETER, a new play based on Franz Kafka's 'A Report to an Academy' and adapted by resident playwright Rachel DuBose*. The show runs July 17 ­- August 1, 2015 at Hairpin Arts Center, 2810 N Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago.

Jenni Barber, Quentin Earl Darrington, Bradley Dean, Dan Fogler, Ana Gasteyer, Josh Lamon, Aaron Lazar, Alyse Alan Louis and Rema Webb join Jonathan Groff in the Encores! Off-Center production of William Finn and James Lapine's A New Brain, running tonight, June 24, through June 27, 2015. The production is directed by James Lapine, with choreography by Josh Prince.

Two Muses Theatre, a non-profit, professional theatre based in West Bloomfield, Michigan, will produce three musicals, two plays and some very special events in their fifth season.

During the crazy broohaha of the Hollywood Fringe Festival, there are plenty of loud, over.the.top noisy shows, if that suits your pleasure. Sondheim's Marry Me a Little is a quiet, gentle little 60-minute musical revue that just doesn't fit that bill. And that's totally fine by me! I prefer Sondheim anyway. In Marry Me a Little, conceived by Craig Lucas and Norman Rene, many of the songs are from the then - late 90s - unproduced Saturday Night coupled with a multitude of songs cut from hits like Company, Follies, A Little Night Music and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. It's a two-person intimate show on the vast Lillian stage and as usual Janet Miller has staged the piece adeptly with lots of tender loving care.

Jonathan Groff may have been away from Broadway for a while, but this season he is taking the musical theatre community by storm. This spring he appeared in The Public Theater's breakthrough production of HAMILTON as King George III, a role he will follow to Broadway later this summer. He also appeared in a sold-out concert event of HOW TO SUCCEED, performed at London's Royal Festival Hall. Now, Groff is taking on the role of 'Gordon' in A NEW BRAIN, as part of ENCORES! Off-Center series. During a break in rehearsals, Groff chatted with BroadwayWorld about everything A NEW BRAIN, upcoming HAMILTON rehearsals, making his long-awaited Broadway return and so much more.
