'I Am Stephen Colbert (and So Can You)' A candid conversation with the real Stephen Colbert is a benefit for the Two River Theater Company and will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 7:30pm. All proceeds will benefit TRTC's productions and education programs.

As we flip the page on our calendars from August to September, a number of areas around the country are beginning to experience a change of seasons from summer to fall - kids are back in school, the temperatures are a bit cooler, and a few leaves are starting to show some autumn colors. But here on the California Central Coast - temperatures are still warm, and several theatres' Fall Seasons are just heating up!

The 26th year of one of Miami's most exciting traditions - Festival Miami - is back to kick off the fall season with great and inspiring music. On Sunday, October 11, 2009 at 3:00 p.m., Jeff Lindberg's Chicago Jazz Orchestra (CJO) begins its 12th Annual Subscription Series with CJO/Gospel Choir Meets Big Band & Selections from the Duke Ellington Concert of Sacred Music, at the Second Presbyterian Church in Chicago.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) presents the first new Broadway production of Bye Bye Birdie, after a 48 year absence, as the inaugural production of the new Henry Miller's Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) beginning Thursday, September 10th, 2009 with an official opening on Thursday, October 15th, 2009. This will be a limited engagement through January 10th, 2010.

Infinity Entertainment and Falcon Entertainment Group have announced the upcoming release of The Judy Garland Show on DVD. Restored and digitally remastered from the original masters, the 26-show variety special is being released in 13 volumes, each featuring two of the hour-long shows. Volume One of The Judy Garland Show will be released on July 28.
